...POINT FOR BEST ANSWER!!!? Well my packard bell computer has always been crap. What happens is I turn it on and it does the usual start up sound and the beep then it goes to the start up packard bell screen like it usually does but the parkard bell screen has like all lines over it. It's hard to explane. And then it just goes to a blank screen and then just freezes on that. Though in some of the attemps, it just freezes on the packard bell screen!

This has happened before and after like a week it starts working again.
It was working fine yesterday.

PLEASE DONT SUGGEST BUYING A NEW COMPUTER OR WAITING FOR IT TO WORK!!!!

Also I did say that before it started working on it's own but before it didn't and my dad had to ring an enginner. PLZ DONT SUGGEST THIS EITHER AS I REALLY NEED SOMETHING I COULD NOW!!!
 
1. A corrupt boot sector will keep a computer from booting all the way up to Windows.
2. You may need to reinstall the video drivers once it has booted up.
3. As stated you may need to do a check disk to find corrupt files.
4. The option people don't really like, is reinstall the Operating system.
