A pinocytic vesicle is a very small container made from the cell membrane (aka plasma membrane) that has engulfed some useful materials from outside the cell, bringing them into the cytoplasm. The pinocytic vesicle eventually fuses with a lysosome so that the materials inside can be digested and used.
