...SHOULD I GET?!? BRAND/CORE? I am having lots of difficulty in finding the right brand/type of radiator to get for my 1998 Honda Civic EX coupe. It has around 155k miles. Its current radiator is slightly bent from a previous collision it had. I just want to best radiator for THIS car. I am looking at Koyo, and CSF. I can spend just about under $200 for one. All I know is that I drive lets just say better than some people, and want my engine to be cooled more. I am hearing aluminum radiators are good for heat dissipation, but I don't know what people mean in terms of "Aluminum". Do I get "All Aluminum" or do I get one that is mostly aluminum with plastic endings??? IDK.
Please do not tell me that the brand does not matter. I AM SURE that most brands are more messed up and shorter lasting than others. Remember that I drive in City/Highway, and that SOMETIMES when I get off the freeway, my car will skyrocket in heat.
Thanks.
P.S. I would get a factory radiator, but simply enough I DO NOT TRUST ORIGINAL HONDA PARTS.
