I'm making a garden that is 25x25 feet. I live in Commerce City, Colorado. If you don't knoe anything about the climates there, it's hot in the summer, cold in the winter, and spring and fall are the only times where the climate is "perfect" and the town is a mile high over sea level. I want an easy to care for or hardy plant and must be safe for birds. Not that I'm planning on having birds there, it's just that every once in a while I'll leave my cocketeils in a larger cage outside to enjoy the fresh air.
