help me pick a phone?

ok i'm such a sucker for side kicks rumor the lingo/wildcard keyboard how it slides. i Would love aph one with a qwerty for easier texting. I would want a really good quality camera i had a katana and the camera sucked no sure what mega pixel that is. it would be nice to be able to watch videos or put music on there. i wouldn't mind video record either. Definitely web browser i hate slider phones and non qwerty phones at the moment the nicest phone i ever had was a qwest katana i'm not even sure what im saying. I been eyeing the rumor but i hear it sucks also the lingo looks like crap. I been looking at a black berry for cricket or a moto q

but i'm not sure what im even talking about i just would like a really nice phone with everything picture sending receveing texting all that jazz im not sure where to start looking or researching it

help me out?

I'll second that...best (and definately most fun) phone I've ever had...the keyboard is great, can't complain a bit about the camera...haven't played with the video record, so I can't vouch for that, but overall you can't go wrong with it.

BTW, avoid the Lingo at ALL COSTS. My g/f had one, and within 6 months the flip was half broken, and calls dropped all the time (and half the time didn't come through at all)...

i work in a deli where i wear gloves and don't have time to take them off or time to use a stylst i only really need a decent camera for myspace photos 1.3 i think is my cheap 20 dollar camera not to sure it would be cool to put music on there but i have a 40 dollar 2 gig mp3 player that suits that so i'm not sure with what phone i'm going to go with i want a super sweet phone but i only really talk to 8 people at most i'm really thinking moto q being i can pick up one on craigs list or ebay for almost under 200 bucks

I agree that the Moto Q is pretty sweet and has the full Qwerty Keyboard which was your main consern in your first post. Now your other concern is a camera for Myspace which the Moto Q which has a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash.

BUT

Either Phone your gonna have to take your gloves off to use the phone for texting im assuming. Also, that little wheel/little ball that you will be using, the Mogul has the same thing. Plus, I got a Mogul 6800 with docking station, extra stylus, pouch, and other standard goodies with shipping for 212. Main advantage...Touch Screen for the ease of use with one hand.

i'm still not entirely sure which phone to get i'm really leaning towarRAB a moto q because they have everything working on cricket service picture messaeing all that. also heard you can get nes snes sega games on the moto q that made me smile like i was a little boy again.

but theres so many different phones out there with qwerty i just want to be able to have a good quality camera good battery life 4 or more the qwerty don't care if its slideable flipable. cool aps to where i could watch movies or even create my own ring tones and surf the web myspace check forums you toube would be nice but i don't think it would work with cricket?

the moto q does seem like a big to carry in my pocket all the time. the mogul looks to fancy to me but the features would be nice

them are the only two phones that i've had time to learn about and the mogul seems way to expensive but i wouldn't mind haveing a flipable or slideable qwerty

what should i go with?

If you want a phone right now, get a Mogul. It has everything you want. It's relatively small when you consider all the features it's packed with. DO NOT bother with the Q: The ONLY advantage it has over the Mogul is it's slimmer profile.......and that's all! It's cheaper because it's cheaper.

However, if size is an issue, then get a Touch. The Touch is a very impressive hanRABet. It has 80% of all the features of a Mogul (no keyboard, no Wi-Fi, no infra-red port) but fits it all into a slim, sexy form factor. If having a keyboard is a must, go with the Mogul.

If you care to wait, both Sprint and Verizon are soon to release the Touch Pro. If you don't want the Touch Pro (or the Diamond--sans keyboard). Exact release dates aren't known, but be advised that demand will be high as will the price.

'Nuff said.

i'll second the mogul. this phone does it all. I just moved from a razr2 V9m on cricket. that phone worked flawlessly too.

A note on the Mogul: I don't use my stylus for anything and I don't use the touchscreen for much. You can get by just fine with the buttons that are on it.

it really looks thick and like it'l take up my pockets slow me down type of feel at work. its pretty fancy the mogul is i'm not entirely sure if i want the extra featuers the mogul has. I'm thinking more of a voyager maybe seems like it does most of what i want. theres so many options out there im clueless because im trying to catch up on a decade of phone information it seems lol

If you're not down with the PDAs and want a keyboard, then:

If you want a touchscreen, get a Voyager.
If you don't care about the touchscreen and would like to have the option of T9 texting, get an enV.

its matter of the sizes i'd have to hold one and get a feel for them they look almost like a slim psp or nintendo RAB thats huge in my pocket lol. there any other phones that you can play nes snes sega roms ?

the voyager and mogul on ebay seem about the same price i know nothing of flashing so i'm trying to find one already flashed for everything and be activated for cricket depending when i get paid i'l pick im leaning towarRAB a mogul can someone tell me if they are huge become a hassle to walk every where with hows the battery i can't find much info just website reviews

i play soccer do martial arts and work in a deli i usually text alot and i live an active life so less wheight and room in my pocket the better for me

Moto q's are pretty Cheap on Ebay. Easy to flash and texting is a breeze. I love the QWERTY and it takes Good pics. There are a few other programs that you can download too. Trust me this phone is SIMPLE to use , hack, and really not as heavy as it looks. Still not decided? Try going to a store and Looking at different phones.

I suggest getting one that was on Verizon. Makes flashing easier.

my mogul started life as sprint. flashing was just fine. eitherwho, this thing is not curabersome at all. it has a nice heft to it so you know your holding something you don't wanna drop. sits in my pocket just fine. or on my hip in a holster. I personally find it no worse than the razr2 I had.
