Help me pick a new phone

Alright so I hate my Motorola Q. Freezes, lockups, bugs, etc. It sucks.

I love texting. I'm much more of a texter than a talker. Unlimited texting, 400 minutes. So it has to be a phone good for that.

I like touch screens, but it's not a deal breaker.

Must be a good looking phone, too. Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Must be easily lockable/unlockable. I hate having my phone call people from in my pocket.

I have a 1 year discount.

I was considering the voyager, but it doesn't seem to be good enough to swallow the price tag. I was considering the enV2, but the small outer screen really annoys me.

The Glyde is sexy, but I haven't heard great things about it.

I was considering waiting until the VX9700 ("Dare"), but I don't have even a general idea how much that will cost.

Besides the Dare, are there any other phones on the horizon that fit my criteria? What about currently-released phone recommendations?

The outer screen isn't even that bad. But thats the whole point, besides from calling you should just open the phone and get a huge screen. The Env2 is defiently the way to go

then comes your likes, prestige, and status as a person to possess the best toy that has most features you will never need.

I would go for the Voyager. Great for texting and a touch screen like you wanted. Ya the price is high. But I heard that its worth it.
