Help me on my VERIZON VOYAGER phone!?

i have the verizon voyager and my keypad light died on me like an hr ago..and theres this constant ringing noise from the keypad. the keypad still works though for texting and stuff but no light and theres a ringing noise to it. Im scared my keypad wont work for texting and stuff, if the light dies, will the buttons break too? and my 1 yr warranty expired like 4 days ago... -____-
