I'm looking for the name of the band/artist and song from a video that I saw on either VH1 or MTV in the 2001-2003 timeframe. All I remember is a small portion of the music video. I thought I remembered the name of the band, but I don't think I'm thinking of the right one. This has bugged me for years and now I desperately want to know the name of the song!
What I remember about the video:
People sitting in lounges around a swimming pool, sunny day. Pretty women. Song had a feel similar to "Days Go By" (the old mitsubishi eclipse commercial theme). I remember someone getting poisoned deliberately, then the face of a child grinning on the screen at the end, almost as if this cute but creepy child had poisoned the person.
I *Thought* the song was by a group known as "Avant". The name I remember must be similar to the name of the band/artist.
ANY help is greatly appreciated. I'd be happy to watch youtube videos/listen to songs to check ideas. I'll be here till this question fades into obscurity or is answered correctly. First correct answer is guaranteed Best Answer.
