Help me find some new books?

I read a good Series about al stuff, I dont remeber the serese name, but I do know that the first book was called "The Warior Heir"
 
I really like to read!!!
But it seems like whenever I go to Borders I have a hard time finding something good to buy..
I like fantasy/horror type books with a little romance?
My favorite book is Shiver by Maggie Steifvater.. I also LOVE the Wicked Lovely series.
Can you please reccomend some to mee???
I'm okay with supernatural things like faeries or werewolves,
but NO NO NOOOO vampires!!!! Vampires are overrated.
And no demons. Ick.
