help me find my friend who is in jail?

my friend is 16 yrs old. we both live in houston, tx and i just wanted to know if theirs a way to find out what jail is he in...i really need to know, is there like a website that tells you where to find the jail a friends' in? plz help..
 
Some county jails have an inmate locator check out the sheriffs' web-sites. Should be able to find that on-line. If not, call the jail where you think he may be! Good luck
