Help me choose between this Dell Inspiron 15r and Sony VAIO? (Laptops)?

Same price. Going to college in a month.

I like the Dell's buttons better (I'm not that huge a fan of VAIO's flat buttons), could be I just need to get used to them

I like the VAIO's finish, especially on the lid, better than the Dell.

After considering the specs, which one should I get??

Any experience with either brand/model is greatly appreciated.
