HI guys, um, I just need some opinions on what martial art I should take.
I'm 14 years old, so I think it should be a good age to start (earlier the better).
But anyway, I don't wanna learn just ANY martial art.
I want to learn a martial art that is very realistic and would really be handy in a street fight or multiple opponent situation.
Also, I want the martial art to be fun, enjoyable, "deadly", and is very good exercise for increasing stamina and endurance.
I don't believe in a "best" martial art, so just name a few that might fit into my category.
Also, I'm not that tall, if that can narrow it down and the martial art doesn't have to have it, but learning to paralyze/stun, or if you must, kill, then that would be nice even though I have no intention of killing anybody.
I just want to learn a martial art that is fun, good exercise, and useful so if I do ever get in a fight, I would have enough time to fend the opponent(s) off and run off to safety.
Thanks.
P.S: I plan to have children when I grow up, so, what would be a fun, good exercise, and useful martial art that they could learn?
THanks!!!
Oh, and the martial art, you must spar a lot.
and I am a black belt in taekwondo, so exclude taekwando and karate.
Anti-weapon and weapons training would be nice too.
