I drew this picture of me and my boyfriend kissing in pencil and I want to make this art works look really realistic. Like with the lips hair,,,everything. And I don't know what medium would look best for putting color to it. He's in the Navy and I want him to be surprised when he comes home and sees it on my wall so if anyone could please help me.

Graphite pencil doesn't mix well with all media, but if your pencil drawing is very lightly drawn, then you can use Prismacolor colored pencils. If your drawing isn't done lightly, then you could use kneaded rubber eraser to press on the pencil marks to lighten them, then use the colored pencil over it. Sanford Verithin pencils are more like graphite pencils, but they are colored pencils. Verithin pencils are more erasable than other colored pencils I've tried. Prismacolor is very waxy and cannot be erased.
You can also consider using dry pastels or even scrapbooking chalks to softly tint the artwork.
