I cooked a pack of lean ground hamburger from walmart and didn't see anything abnormal but then while I was eating, I found pieces of a woodsy looking thing in my hamburger, and it was a stick. We picked it apart to see if it was bone, and it wasn't. It looked like the outside of a stick, the same coloration. It was about an inch long and there were several little skinny pieces. What's making me and my mom crazy is we ate some of the meat with pita chips and taco stuff, and we think we could have eaten some. We took it back to walmart where we got it and filled out some stuff and got our money back but is there anything you can offer to help us have peace of mind? it was just really gross and weird to find that in meat!
