hi iv just passed my cbt and got my first bike(moped)its a reel sweet ride for a 50 cc and top of the range the problem is like most vehicles its exhaust gets very hot.so i was driving around and as i was coming home this small sheet of plastic (it looks like a rain coat pvc) hit the exhaust and melted on to it.i managed to peel most of it of but there are still a few little bits left on it.i cant afford to replace the exhaust and the bike is still ridable but i am quite picky and its driving me crazy cos every time i look at it it shows up the only imperfection on my bike.i cant use any thing that is scratchy like wire wool cos it will scratch the paint of it .my mum says that i should consider getting the engine going so that the plastic melts again and i can peel it of but their is also a little bit where the plastic has burnt into an almost carbon thingy and wont melt or scrape of with ease. if u hav any suggestions please tell me.
thanx!!
