Help Installing MC enterprises Sissy bar

I have a 2008 C50 Boulevard. It has the factory suzuki saddle bags already installed on it.

I was wondering how to remove the 5 Hex bolts that are mounted in each side of the rear fender?

They seemed torqued ridiculously tight. I almost striped one of them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I used a hollow metal bar to give more leverage. They are tight and have torque paint on them also. The bar I used was actually a leg off an old grill. I bit soft but with a little care I was able to make it work.

They are definitely tight. Maybe spray it with some WD-40 or Breakaway, let it sit a few hours, then give it a few good whacks with maybe a short wooden dowel (1" diameter) and a mallet to maybe loosen it a bit. On mine, most felt like I was just about to strip them when they suddenly broke loose and turned. Be sure to use a good allen wrench. If the allen wrench you're using starts to get rounded edges, get another fresh wrench before trying again. A few dollars spent on a new wrench beats trying to get a stripped bolt out.

Finally got them off today. I only had to take the one side off atleast that saved a lot of work.

I used a new Allen wrench set I checked out from work. It worked like a charm.

Sissy bar looks good on the bike.

I like the mounting brackets for the MC Enterprise better than the Suzuki brand mounts that mount on the outside of the fender supports.

Thanks for the Help!!!
