Help Installing a cold air intake for 05 mazda 3?

Recently purchased a cold air intake system for my car. Didn't come with instructions. When i looked under my hood I saw some wires connecting to the stock intake. Do these wires just hang after I put in the aftermarket C.A.I?
Any help as to installing would also be greatly appreciated, thanks.
 
1. You didn't purchase a cold air intake for your car. You bought a replacement for the cold air intake system you already had. You're not adding anything to the car that you didn't already have.

2. If there are now loose wires, then you purchased the wrong intake. Seeing as it didn't come with instructions, I'm going to guess you went on eBay, and bought some cheap 5-10$ intake, that was advertised as "JDM" something something, or whatever, and not a name brand. Point of the matter is, those wires must connect to your intake. If the new one doesn't do that, then you can't use it.
