please help me do my essay, i have been in US now for 4 years, and I'm not pretty good at writing.
This is what i have.
Intro:
When Barack Obama became our nation's 44th president on January 20, 2009 it was fitting that he used the same bible that Lincoln used for his inauguration in 1861. In signing the "Emancipation Proclamation" in 1863, Lincoln gave to African Americans the ability to hope. that hope was realized in the election of Barack Obama. Living a century and a half apart, Lincoln and Obama and their words were alike in some ways and different in others.
Body paragraph:
in 3 paragraph i have to explain how were they different and alike, and I also need a conclusion.
I started the first paragraph, i have:
Lincoln Believed that all men were created equal, and therefore, they deserve the same opportunities and rights, Barack Obama have prove that what Lincoln said have been accomplished

i need to finish :'( please help me out with something,
conclusion, paragraph 1,2,3
thnx u guys ^_^

Lincoln is proubly looking down from heaven now saying " Please help me I'm Falling" as Conway pushes him!

Sounds like you've got a great start. I can't give you specific help with an ending but I'll give you a little tip: The best writers know now to bring things full circle in their last line or two of an essay, tying them back to what is in their opening sentences. For example, in your case it would be something about how the vision of Lincoln, like the Bible Obama used at his inauguration, have endured through time because hope and Truth are universal.

You have your history wrong.

Lincoln's goal was not really to free the slaves. I still do not get why Obama wants to identify with him except for the fact that they both came from Illinois.

Sorry can't give you much help except to say they both gave great speeches. I am not a fan of Obama myself so maybe you'll get some of his followers to answer this question better. The only other thing I can think of in common hasn't happened yet, lets just hope OB stays out of dark theaters.
