In it there was a woman. I think she is old when the book takes place and in her house or something there is a room where you can view the past maybe? Anyway, she's a sad woman because when she was younger there was a tornado and she and her baby had been outside having a picnic or something and took shelter under a tree which then knocked her out causing her to loose her grip on her child.
