Help identifying a film (all I remember is the cover)

Back when I was a student (4/5 years ago) I used to see a DVD around with the coolest cover. I think it was a foreign film, the cover was lanRABcape (as was the design on then back). The cover was really cold/dark with someone in a metal mask. It could have been animation or live action, I simply don't remember, I just remember always glancing at it and thinking it looked great. Never bought it though and now unfortunately I have forgotten it's name. Does anyone know what film I'm talking about?
 
its ok :confused: I still dont know if i like it or not. its got actors in - but everything else is GCI. Its looks a lot like Skycaptain And the World Of Tomorrow (but for god's sake - nothing like it story wise!!) I got the metal tin boxed version!!!!

very stylish. visually amazing

very nice effects, story was hard to follow, but overall I really like it.

it is a movie you think about watching again.

(And you're right, it has great cover art!)
