I'm need to do a presentation for my media diploma about a film that has caused alot of controversy. and it would help if alot was still posted on to thenet..

I cant do.. Passion of the christ, american history x, nd a coupple of other because people are doing that.. please help and give me some suggestions

i am doing clockwork orange.. never thought about that film ... i have it on dvd so i can use some clips on it.. thank you.
 
The Last Temptation of Christ?

Somebody else is probably doing that too, but you could compare it to the Passion of Christ.

Religion, violence and sex are the main themes that cause controversy.
But you could also pick a film that caused controvery because of the way it was filmed, can't think of one at the mo, but perhap Citizen Kane?
 
if you had'nt picked clockwork orange,anything that is 18 certificate in the world cinema section at hmv is bound to controversial somewhere in the world!! :rolleyes:
 
What about David Cronenberg's Crash (1996). Caused a big fuss over here when it came out, banned by local councils ect. This is a good choice because when you see it you can't decide what all the fuss was about, possibly stoked up by the studio as well. Although Rosanna Arquette does a good comic turn, reminRAB me of Kenneth Mars' police inspector in Young Frankenstein.
