Help!!! I need a Flash 8 wall hittest!!!?

i need an actionscript that when your character hits a wall he stops moving, like a maze game.

And if you can find me a code that doesn't require me to put that code on every left wall and every right wall, etc. I just want a code I can put in every wall cause I have a ton of walls.

I've got the same problem. I looked for codes in a lot of websites but it doesn't wooork!!
