Nothing works supposedly.? This lady testified today that the electronics malfunctioned when she pressed the accelerator and her car sped out of control. She pressed both brakes, she put her car in neutral and then reverse. Nothing worked. She tried to turn off her car and it wouldn't turn off.
Toyota appears to be either clueless or deceptive about these electronic problems. They are simply recalling cars based on where the gas pedal was manufactured.
My car wasn't recalled yet. I'm wondering if I could switch gears into 2 or 1 or press cruise control and then move the speed downward with the cruise button. I know police cruisers have helped to stop these vehicles. Any ideas?
