...am I doing wrong? I followed the directions...I open a picture, clicked on the clone stamp, picked a brush...then I did alt-click and nothing!! Can you figure out what I am doing wrong? Thanks from Sleepless in Photoshopland.
 
After holding down alt and then clicking on the area you wish to sample, start working the brush over the area you want to cover. If nothing is happening, it could be that you are on the wrong layer, you have a mask on the layer you are editing, there is a layer mode imposed on the brush, or the oppacity is set at a low level.

Check all this stuff and see if you get anywhere!
