So I have been playing electric guitar for about 4 years now. I really want to take it to the next level, so I can jam better, write better riffs, and etc. I was told scales are the way to go, but with some many different types of scales. I dont know where to start, or which scale is which. What are the basic scale every guitarist should know? Or which ones are the most popular. Thanks!
