Help how do I fill in a big hole in my garden where my pond used to be?

The hole goes about 3ft down into the ground and is about 6ft x 4ft wide, and I am trying to figure out what the best way to fill the hole back in and any ideas what to do with the area afterwards?
Where can I get dirt to fill in the hole
