HELP!!!!! HOW DO I CONNECT MY PSP TO THE INTERNET!!!! ip timeout?

ok ive been trying to connect and i connected at my friends house and the library but i cant connect to my own internet!
it says psp ip address timeout.
how do i fix this!!!!!

please it would be great if someone could do a in detail answer i will give them the best answer!
