:help: I'm going crazy! :doh: I already flashed the phone to cricket, I tried following all the instructions to use the browser as well. I cannot browse the internet! :disappoin I couldn't follow certain instructions: remove any other profiles except the first 2 in the m.ip tab, and write the tethered id and password in um at the ppp config. tab. The program would not let me write or erase anything the erase tab for example was not availabe (it was there I just could not click the tab). This must be the reason it's now working. I guess.... :befuddled
 
okk i can help u out. Did you enter the brower and username settings ? ... when you try to connect to the internet does it give u an error or connection fail ? Give me exactly what is wrong .. PM me
 
Instinct help
I Have flashed my instinct over to cricket, but after I add my setting in m.ip and ppp the password disappears and the DNS comes back when I try to write it to the phone. Is it normal for the phone to reboot each time I click write to phone? When I hit internet I get connection failed. Thanks in advance.
 
DO NOT!!!!!! Do a hard reset!

This will wipe any sprint provisioning off the phone (it must be provisioned to get internet working on Cricket). It is a lot harder to get it to work after a hard reset. I always enable both profiles as well.
 
Ok I disabled 1st profile and tried again still got connection failed, then tried it with both profiles enabled still no go. I also got error 97 when trying to send regular text. Any ideas on this. I used 1040 prl should I use different one. Calls still working ok. Thanks again guys for the help.
