HELP HELP Any Thoughts on the Harley Davidson ENGINE??

anythoughts on is the ENGINE reliable, because I have been hearing rumors that it has some problems.
 
The '00 '06 twin cam motors have been very reliable (the 88's). The new 96 inchers ('06 '07) run hot... in traffic almost 260 degrees. The jury is still out on them.
 
old like the enfield Indian, now would you buy one of them or go for something more modern
