Help from those using 2 or more phones!!

I have a G1 and an 8100 Pearl and I want to use both phone simultaneously(I do not want to swap back and forth, too much hassle). Does anyone on T-mobile do this now and if so how do you have it set up? I don't really want to add an additional line for this but it seems like I will have to.

You can always move to a data only plan on your blackberry and leave your voice line on the G1 but yes it will require a new line of service to do this.

Well I went ahead and added a line, no way I am giving up my BB plan since tmobile decided to raise it by more than double! I added a line with 1 year contract and switched my G1 plan over to the new line I also found out that tmobile won't let you have the G1 without the data plan so I was already paying for 2. Data plans either way the G1 is cool and I am enjoying it but my BB wins the email war. Thanks for the help.

I looked on the home page for T-Mobile and it didn't show anything concerning BB devices, just the G1. I went further in and looked at the BB features and see them all at the same price as they have been for the past year or longer. I am lost where you see them doubling their rates for BB data.

If you are talking about the posting here, they are not doubling their rates, they are bundling them. From the way I read that, you will no longer be able to get a data plan without getting messaging. The rate hasn't changed except you now have a messaging plan included not optional.
