so, what may happen to my new car? I have a 2009 Honda Accord. I take care of my car and take it to the dealer whenever it neeeds oil change and a refill on its necesarry oils and fluids. The other day, however, i am deeply ashamed to say...I RAN OUT OF GAS!!! My helpful friend came to my rescue and put some gas in my car, when he was done , I offered to pay for the gas and he said he had not purchased the gas. Turns out he has had that gasolline container filled with gas for a little more than a year!! This of course freaked me out, he did asure me that gas is gas and my car would not suffer any harm. My question is, is he right or should i be worried, I believe he put anout a gallon of gas, after that i filled the car up with the usual, regular gas.
