I occasionally get really bad, painful pimples on my earlobes. They don't seem to form a head and will not pop--I know you shouldn't pop them anyway, but on the rare occasion I can get them to pop, they seem to heal much quicker.

So it's only on my earlobes and only occasionally, I don't think I need to see a dermatologist about it. But what can I do to get rid of it quickly? It's swollen and painful. Any tips?

I get those too and dont know what they are. Sometimes i can painfullly pop them and white stuff comes out they arent normal pimples, I think they are related to acne though and my body's way of dealing with toxins and yeast/candida which is where I think my body acne is coming from.

That is interesting about the yeast. I am currently treating tinea versicolor which is caused by a yeast overgrowth on my abdomen, so I know I've got issues with yeast too.

I always thought those were boils. I get them occasionally, and when I do, I usually have a boil in my armpit at the same time. When I have a boil, I always have a sinus infection. The discharge from boils looks the same as pus from pimples, but it contains staph germs, so popping them could spread the infection. Tea tree oil has always helped mine heal faster.
