Help Fly Ying f035 Opera Wifi

Hi - I purchased a Fly Ying F035 (I think it is a knockoff the the Blackberry Storm). The only reason I purchased it, is to use the Opera browser over Wifi. Wouldn't you know it, even though this phone does a million things, I cannot get it to do the ONE thing that I want.

I've tried every setting and cannot get the Opera browser (or any Java app) to connect over Wifi. The WAP browser works fine (so my Wifi connection is fine).

Whenever I launch Opera (the version that came with the phone) it just says "no working network connection detected". I installed the latest Opera and it gives a similar message. Ebuddy (whatever that is) gives a similar message.

I may be mistaken but I assume that the menus/settings on this phone are the same as all the other fly ying models. I'm stumped, so I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Well it is a very popular issue with this phones. All you have to do is configure the way opera gets the information... there are 2 possible ways which are by GSM network (which means data plan) or via WIFI. all you have to do is (before opening opera). open opera menu, then go to network profile, then choose in profile mode 'user specific' then in JAVA sim1 profile choose wifi, do the same for java sim2 profile. For all the java applications you should do the same so the program know how to get the data.

Hope this will be helpful
