Help: Flash 7250

I wanna buy one of these, and I wasn't sure of the steps needed to do it. Could I just buy a normal cable, and load the PRL to the phone, and it would activate right? I don't need web, just text and voice.

I did search, till my heart's content, and no one really gave the steps.

Again: My idea is:

Buy USB cable
Load PRL though QPST
And just *228 the phone

That's it...?
 
i am assuming you mean blackberry 7250?

that sounRAB about right, tho i've never done a blackberry myself.

from what i'm reading there may be some issues with the spc after writing with it with qpst.
