Hi, My boyfriend has had chronic back pain for over 3 years and has been to so many doctors that hes ready to give up. He has pain on the right side of his low back that radiates to his side. He says its a horrible stabbing pain that can make him double over in pain. He has been to back specialists, nerologist, he has done physical therapy, seen many normal MRAB to see if they think anything is up but nothing has come up. He has had blood tests and went to get an ultrasound on his gall bladder because he has the symptoms of having gall bladder problems. But that cheacked out normal too. He has had an MRI done on his low back and mid back. Also he has had a ct scan done with contrast. He has had kidney stones in the past but now all that checks out. He's been to a chiro who has adjusted him and done acupunture to the area. The Physical Therapy and Chrio helped but the pain always came back. All the doctors say his scans come up normal and its really frustrating to him and thinks that maybe its all in his head. Other symptoms he has are: Trouble sleeping, constipation, gas, bloating, pain in the area below rib cage, on different medications for bipolar, aniexty, and ADD. Doctors check the levels of meRAB in his system to make sure hes ok and that checks out too. So I'm just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what it could be.
Thanks!

Has he gone to a gastroentrologist? It may be something in his intestines that is giving him issues-with the constipation and gas, bloating that's all internal and not spinal... He may want to give that a try.

No I dont believe he has been to one of those, thanks for the suggestion, I'll let him know
