OK my friend is on MSN and is freaking out because she watched a film the other day and can't remember what it's called. 
The only info I have is that there are magic talking books which a young boy gets transported into and then he finRAB himself in an animated world, he slays a dragon, finRAB a wizard and then goes back to "real life" and the wizard is a librarian, he then goes home to a tree house and the books come alive again.
She *thinks* an actor from Little Vampire was in it.
