HELP! Fiance in wheelchair, so how do we do the first dance?

My fiance injured his leg really badly about a month ago. He needs to have surgery, but he can't have it until his leg heals up a bit. So for the meantime, he is in a wheelchair. Our wedding is in a few weeks. He CANNOT get out of the wheelchair, it would screw up his leg. But with having planned the wedding for a year, and all of the deposits and travel arrangements we are going to go ahead with the wedding. I don't see any reason to defer really, except I was really looking forward to the first dance. I still want to do it but I don't now how we can. I can't sit in his lap because of his leg and he can't stand even for a few minutes because he can't take any weight through his leg. I am tall and so I don't know how we can dance. Does anyone have any ideas? We still plan on having dancing for our guests and I will be more than happy to sit out the rest of the night by his side, but I really want to keep the first dance, so has anyone seen a wedding where a member was in a wheelchair? What did they do? Did they just hold hands and sway or is there another method?

I would contact a dance studio and have them choreograph something. Believe it or not these situations are more common than you would think. They can put something together that would look nice in two or three lessons.
