HELP!! EVO is stuck at start up and it won't let me do a thing.

Hi I was needing help with my HTC EVO phone. it got stuck while opening an application called ahome. I took the battery out and restarted it but that did not work . I have tried to hold the power button and home screen for 25 seconds but didn;t do anything either. And last I tried to hold the volume down and the power button but nothing.

The message I get say"the application aHOME LITE (process mobi.bbase.ahomelite) has stopped unexpectely. Please try again."

so I hit the only option available, force close and it just does it all over again. Any suggestions, thanks in advanced. I'll be checking for questions and answers, thanks.
 
Could be just aHome broken. You could boot into safe mode (not sure how to do that on the Evo, but on many phones you hold Menu down while powering on the phone, and keep it held down until the home screen appears). This stops all apps running on startup, and should allow you to uninstall aHome.
