Ok so i have been with my bank for 9 years. for the last 3 years i have been in debt to the bank and have worked out an arrangement with them to pay back what i owe. They almost took me to the debt collectors- infact the debt collectors rang me and i told them about the deal-at which point the clerk checked his computer records, agreed then hung up.

i have recently had access to my credit report - there are no records of my bank history on there at all!?!?!!? what do i do?

shud i call experian to get it on the report, or will that mean i will have a default logged against me?

Leave well enough alone, your bank obviously doe's not report to the credit bureaus. Or at least not to Experian.

Leave well enough alone. If it's not on your credit report it's because they didn't report it. Some companies only report to one of the credit bureaus and others report to two or all three of them. Better to not have it on there than to have it as a negative. Good luck!

Equifax is the most used when doing a credit check.. either way they always find out if u have a bad credit history included Experian ..

You don't need to tell them anything! those arseholes dig into your affairs to much now!

They might have reported to chexsystems.
So stay with that bank no matter what, you may not be able to get a checking account somewhere else. Not sure of this.

Thank you lucky stars they didn't report you to the credit bureaus, or sell your account to a collection agency.

Did you check all 3 of your reports. Some of those sites that charge you only give you one report. Collection agencies sometimes do not report to all 3.
Get your report at
annualcreditreport.com
totally free, print it out and review it carefully, just to make sure.
