the firat person is like so wrong ich does not only appear in the mouth it appears in the finns and sides the spot is an open sore that healed if it's white that means the flesh still needs to heal you shouldn't have any thing sharp in the tank so no sharp gravel

On my red betta fish, Cheeto, there is one small white bump near his mouth and I was wondering what it is. He's had it for a week now and it hasn't multiplied or grown. He seems perfectly fine and he eats and swims normally. I don't think it's ich because it doesn't look like a grain of sand and because it's a solitary bump. Does anyone know what this could be? Should I be concerned?

it could be ich though, because it can grow into many sizes, amounts, and even colors. so you never no!, ask your local fish store for some help. my fish had the exact same type of infection and then it spread to its head and killed it through the brain.
