About every three months I get a depo-provera shot (a form of birth control), and it causes me to not get my period. I have been getting this shot for about a year now. Out of random, over a week ago (still continuing) I began bleeding, but not normal period blood, it looks like pure blood. I have also gained weight and have been craving food a lot more. I was wondering what happens, on the off chance, if you get pregnant while on depo-provera? I'm very paranoid about this. So if anyone knows what is going on with my body, or what happens when you get pregnant on the shot? Please don't guess, only answer if you know what you're talking about please, I don't need mixed answers, just help.
