Help deciding what power amp to use with RF subs?

I have a Rockford Fosgate P2L-212 enclosure, and I need some help deciding what amp to get to run this correctly.

The enclosure is 400wRMS at 4 ohms

What I really want to know is if I can use an amp that runs at about 600w RMS at 4 ohms. Is there a way to turn down the wattage coming from the amp? What amp would you recommend for this?
 
i have same sub use the rockford fasgate 250x2 works great and dont bridge it will burn the voice coil up. I found out the hard way
