hi all, i currently had a vga socket put into my wall and the other eng goes to the tv. i could watch films etc... from my computer on my tv (they are in different rooms). then i replaced my pc as my old one broke and i bought a sony vaio vpcj118fg touch screen computer and i would like to watch it through my tv again. however this pc does not have a vga socket on it, so i though that with it being a high def computer i should be able to connect a hdmi lead with a vga socket on the end into my wall socket and bobs your uncle it should work. . . . . but now i realise my computer does not have an hdmi output lol. so i am asking if anyone knows how to connect my pc to my tv (preferably with a vga add on as i already have on built into the wall!)
