My backyard is full of weeds and I'm a hopeful beginner garden.
I am so completely lost.
First off, the backyard is full of weeds. It is NOT a lawn w/ a few weeds here and there...I think it's ALL WEED...The thing is when we got here there were a few weeds and we just never did anything about them.
I have a shovel, a plow, and something that has spikey wheel...and a hand trowel. And except for the hand trowel, those three things aren't even mine. I have soil.
Please don't laugh at me...I need serious help. To begin with, how do I even get rid of these weeds? I tried using a shovel/hand trowel but they seem to get me nowhere. Am I removing topsoil? I don't even know what I am doing.
