HELP!! Changing from BT to Virgin Media within BT Contract?

I am in the middle of my contract with BT but would like to change to Virgin Media, but am worried about the cancellation charges i may be charged with from BT.

Talk Talk usually take over all fees and charges when changing to them, i was wondering if virgin media do the same?
