Help changing brake light on 99 mercury cougar?

Hi. I have a 99 Mercury Cougar and i'm trying to replace the bulb for the center brake light but i can't seem to figure it out.

I took the fabric cover off and there is a clip in the center of the brake housing, but i can't seem to figure the rest out.

ANy help?? thanks
