help, can u recover photos from sd card? if so, how?

i lost most my photos on my camera
i have the canon powershot SD630 Digital ELPH
and have hte adaptar for the camera to the computer
but i cant figure out how to recover all the photos...
please help.

If the card hasn't been formatted or isn't otherwise corrupt buy a card reader. They're available where ever cameras are sold for little $$.
I use them all the time with no extra hassle or software.
