Guys,
Posted here because i'm not 100% sure of what i'm suffering from.
In the past year i've had several spells where my health just seems to have dipped. My docs have never really taken it seriously, putting everything down to stress, but even on holiday (as i am now) i am still affected.
I've had around 4 similar spells in the past year, ranging from headaches / dizzy spells / detached - spaced out feeling, pains / shivers running down my body, etc, etc. I had some heart tests done because i did have a raised heartbeat one night, but i think the whole anxiety of 'what is wrong' was getting to me and feel these were not the tests i needed. All tests came back fine as i thought they would. I do have high blood pressure, but it is under control perfectly on a very low dosage on Lisinopril
My most recent bad spell seems to have me feeling something just isn't right in my head, my balance seems to be off, and i feel regular 'adjustments' in my head where i feel something happening that knocks me off balance. I've also had a lot of headaches, usually after work or after long times on the PC, sometimes feels like pressure behind my nose / eyes, or at the back of my head. I've also experienced some pain in my pelvis / thighs, worse in the morning, that seems to have been ongoing for the past couple of months, and i even have to admit that sexually something has changed. Erections are ok, but ejaculation seems to be harder and doesn't have the same effect (if you know what i mean!!
) The dizziness doesn't ever knock me over, but i do feel like im walking around somewhat spaced out, and sometimes when i get these dizzy spells it feels like my head is being 'forced' forward and down ... it's weird!!
In between these bad spells i've been fine, in fact for the previous 8-9 weeks i was going swimming every morning and doing 60 lengths of the pool, so this just keeps baffling me, but it really is starting to get me down now and i'm really getting more and more anxious about whether there is something seriously wrong with me
I will be asking my doctor for a second opinion and i intend to get myself away from the NHS to my private insurance, but if anyone on here can shed some light it would be appreciated. Is it all just work related stress????
