Help being able to talk to girls first?

Repost because the other barely got answered. I'm 14 and ever since grade 7 I have not been able to talk to girls first. I'm scared they don't like em and will say stuff like "uh huh cool" like I'm bugging them. Popular girls talk to em and say hi a few times but I never start anything. I don't want to think I'm bugging anyone! I'm not an average kid I spend every night alone in my basement on the computer listening to vinyl records(my day pretty much) and I rarely hang out with my small group of mostly crappy friends. My interests are so strange(Transformers collector) that I don't have tons of normal convos. I want to try to talk to a girl first by the end of grade 9 but I just can't. Help? Also I play guitar and draw but no one cares or comments on my stuff.
Help please? I don't want to be a loser my whole life.
 
I have the same problem, practically the EXACT same (just different interest) but when I decided to talk to girls they seem to be really cheerful because I don't normally. I never know what to say, but I try to setup a conversation for them to give details and me to expand on them. Also you could find out what they're interested in and draw them a neat picture on that subject. Much luck to you.
 
bro dont even worry about it. i was very similar to that didnt want to talk to girls i was scared that i was gonna get ddissed in front of everyone. but your time will come you just gotta be yourself and dont care you shouldnt try to interest them with nonsense but be able to talk about similar stuff for example you play guitar so maybe music?? but think of it this way if you go talk to a girl you have a 50% chance of getting her number and a 50% chance you dont. but if you dont talk to her thats a 100% chance you wont get her number. Your time will come dont sweat it just have fun in high school.
