help back pain

hi all new here.i have some ? for you all ;)jusk got back from doctors apt this is what she says i got si joint sacroilitis degenerative disk disease l4-l5-l5 s1and fibromyalgia.my pain is so bad i cant hardly walk most days.she want me to si joint shots and shots in the s1.i would like to know has anyone here had them if so did they help.she told me she dont think i can work any more i should try to get ssd.has anyone on here tryed to ssd for the things i got and did you get it.was told it can take a long time to get.i just dont know if i can go though all this.i just want the pain gone.cant deal with it much longer i just want to give up.:o

I too have SI JOINT, FACET JOINT, FIBRO, MCS, ARTHRITIS, DDD, OSTEOPENIA, and a host of other things.

Glad you are hear..............do a search and you can find lot of info on all you ask about that will help educate you. Lots of very experienced folks here.
 
Welcome...and reading is a good thing. Inform yourself of all of your choices...and how many injections you can safely have during a year. Lots of choices. I had the SI injection about 3 weeks ago...it helped...until I fell - which under any circumstance is not a good thing.
You can come and ask questions/list your concerns or just get comfort here...the people on this board are amazing. You are no longer alone in your pain.
